摘要

RADPATH and RADTEST are successive SCOPE-ICSU studies of man-made radionuclides in our environment. RADPATH examined the principal sources and biogeochemical pathways of released radioactivity while RADTEST concentrates on the dispersion, deposition and human health effects of fallout from nuclear weapons tests. Together the projects have come up with much valuable data and conclusions on dosimetry, dose reconstruction and the health impact of high and low doses of ionising radiation.
