Abstract: The resolution of commercial digital sensors is a limiting factor for the achievable accuracy of photogrammetric on-line systems. The resolution can be increased, if the object is recorded sequentially with partial images orientated to each other. Partial images can be achieved by mounting a sensor on a bi-axial turning and tilting device. The geometric model for object reconstruction by means of a turning and tilting camera is introduced to a photogrammetric bundle adjustment. Systematic errors, such as the skew between the turning and tilting axis, can be taken into account. !24
