摘要

An all-optical UWB pulses generation and modulation scheme based on a semiconductor optical amplifier and a DWDM is proposed and demonstrated, which has potential applications in multiuser UWB-Over-Fiber communications systems. Using proposed scheme, pulse amplitude modulation (PAM), pulse polarity modulation (PPM) and pulse shape modulation (PSM) can be conveniently realized.
