We explore how users manage multi-session web tasks (tasks that require more than a single webrnsession to complete). When users are performing multi-session web tasks, they must 'make sense' ofrninformation that they gather during each of the Web sessions and they must also 'keep a sense' of therninformation between the sessions. We present the results from two studies that examine how users arernperforming multi-session tasks and outline three prototype tools that we are currently evaluating to helprnusers perform multi-session tasks.
