摘要

We propose a novel laser Doppler profile sensor, which allows simultaneous measurement of position and velocity of rough surfaces. Precise measurements on different technical surfaces with defined shape and roughness are presented. The obtained standard deviation in the position is less than one micrometer in the center of the measurement volume. For the velocity, a relative statistical error of ≤ 0.05 % was obtained. Together with the high temporal resolution compared to triangulation, this sensor has the potential to open up new perspectives in the field of real-time production metrology, for example at process control within the turning and the grinding process or at tip-clearance measurements in gas turbines.
