摘要

Ethylene plastomers, produced using metallocene catalysts, are well known for their superior toughness, high clarity, excellent organoleptics, and exceptional heat sealing attributes. These unique attributes have been employed for several years in the manufacturing of many different high performance, mono-and multilayer, blown and cast films.A series of extrusion coating studies has demonstrated that these ethylene plastomers also can be used to produce a wide variety of nigh performance extrusion-coated and extrusion-laminated constructions. The test structures exhibited excellent toughness, high tear resistance, and good hot tack and heat sealing properties. The coating performance of the ethylene plastomers was very good when small amounts of HP-LDPE were added to adjust the draw-downeck-in balance.
