摘要

A new clear biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) combines excellent moisture barrier with clarity and scalability at thin gauges. A modifier material is incorporated during film processing and forms distinct external surface layers on the film imparting significantly improved resistance to moisture transmission. A packaging study has demonstrated that the MVTR improvement translates into equivalent product shelf life at reduced film thickness relative to standard BOPP.
