High power electronic ballasts are reuqired in the industrial side such as cure printing system by using high Power UV lamp. Electronic ballasts are very effective for the line voltage fluctuation condition and control UV power level by using micro computer. However, these electronic ballasts are necessary to use high voltage/low current rated power semiconductor module. This paper presents the balast conbination of a three phase two channel transformer with a commercial base electronic device such as 1,200V 30A IGBT.
