摘要

This paper makes an analysis of current source inverters CSI with complex load, which is valid in the both modes - limited or unlimited value of the input inductance.rnIn result of the analysis we have obtained expressions for the inverter current and the voltage across the equivalent commutating capacitor. These expressions allow to be determined the rest of necessary quantities for the CSI.rnThe methods are for designing parallel and serial-parallel CSI. CSIs with limited input inductance are designed and they work in metallurgical facilities in Bulgaria.rnThere are results from the simulations, which confirm the validity of the analysis, based on the proposed by the authors new and original way of examination of CSI.
