This paper describes the evolution and operating experience of Siemens’ V64.3A industrialrngas turbine and its application in turnkey EPC projects in a changing market environment.rnThe advanced 5400 rpm single-shaft engine is nominally rated 70 MW and is geared torn3000/3600 rpm for 50/60 Hz electrical grids. In addition to the V64.3A’s design, this paperrnwill also address major commercial references from selected plants, as well as the actualrnoperating status of the entire fleet.
