Preparation and Properties of PP/hyperdispersantano-TiO<,2> Composites

Rutile nano-titanium dioxides (TiO<,2>) modified by plolyester-type hyperdispersant were applied to the modification of polypropylene (PP), and the effects of the content of hyperdispersant and nano-TiO<,2> on the properties of the composite were studied. It was found that the optimal content of nano-TiO<,2> and hyperdispersant were 1.5wt% and 2wt% respectively; the dispersion effect of nano-TiO<,2> were improved obviously by the hyperdispersant; the melting viscosity of the composites were reduced greatly which improved the processing property; the mechanical properties of PP could be obviously enhanced when it was filled with hyperdispersant modified nano-meter TiO<,2>.
