The distribution of pressure-relief gas in the underground mine was observed and the composition of gas outflow in fully mechanized caving face,roof caving of the upper comer and the change of gas outflow in the strike high-level suction roadway were statistically analyzed.According to the result,thescientific principle for the success of comprehensive technology of“U+I”style ventilation and strike high-level suction roadway plus the gas drainage roadwayduring initial mining is that the pressure-relief gas has double characters:gas-diffusion and drift.
