Applied Research on Soft Ground Treated with High Pressure Jet Grouting Pile

In order to determine the grouting method and corresponding technical parameters on the seventh layer of Shanghai stratum (sandy silt and sandy soil with water contained) treated with high pressure jet grouting pile, the on-site tests of single pile and pile groups grouted with ORDINARY TRI-TUBE method, RODIN JET PILE(RJP) method and SUPERJET MIDI(SJM) method have been conducted to compare the treatment effects. As well as the influences by grouting tube lifting method to pile diameter and the drilling direction controllability of inclined drill hole have been studied in this paper. The experimental results indicated that, the pile's 28d strength of RJP and SJM method are higher than that of ORDINARY TRI-TUBE method, but all three grouting methods can achieve 1.5MPa. The diameters of piles are not influenced significantly by grouting tube lifting methods above mentioned, which ORDINARY TRI-TUBE method can achieve 1.5m, and the RJP and SJM method can achieve 2.2m~2.3m. The drill holes gradient can satisfy the overlap request of piles body.
