Telecom operators are equipment-intensive enter-prise with various types of huge energy consump-tion equipment, which occupy a large part of the operating costs of production. With the process of social modernization, the state increase emphasis on resource conservation and environment protec-tion. As an emerging technology, Internet of Things technology using for energy conservation of tele-com operators can improve the company's own service and operational efficiency. This paper ana-lyzes the energy consumption problems telecom operators equipments faced and give the appropri-ate IOT solutions which achieves the purpose of equipment energy saving.
