摘要

This paper presents a comprehensive testing methodology for dynamic,urban receiver evaluation.Results reporting methods are suggested that include:temporal element of statistical results(beyond CEP),movie visualization that included a truth comparison and spectrum/interference plots,and C/N_0 binning that characterizes the dynamic fading environment.Currently accepted simulator-based testing and 3GPP testing provide only a limited replication of the urban environment.RF record and playback systems are explored as way to capture the urban RF conditions in the most realistic manner,and have the ability to replicate urban signal conditions for receiver evaluation and development purposes. Differences between the commercially available record/playback systems are described in terms of RF interference susceptibility.
