摘要

A spheroplastic with the density of 0.63 g/cc was investigated under dynamic uniaxial compression at the strain rate up to 3000 sec~(-1). The split Hopkinson pressure bar method was used. With increasing the strain rate from 10~(-4) to 10~3 sec~(-1) the compression strength and the modulus of elasticity of the spheroplastic increases and the mechanism of the deformation and failure changes too.
