摘要

We present in this paper the consistent iteration method in dynamic axisymmetrical finite elements for analysis of high velocity impact.The characteristic of the consistent iteration is that the solutions of the lumped masses are used as initial value to search the approximate solutions of the consistent masses by a.few of iterative steps before each step of time integration. The calculation examples show that there has been an improvement in the analysis of the stress wave propagation through the use of the consistent iteration and it can give a comparable calclulation result with the experiment of high velocity impact.
