Depleted uranium alloy (DU ) is one of the most widely used material for long rod kinetic energy penetrator. The kinetic energy penetrators undergo exceedingly dynamic loading during launch and penetration. Therefor, it is important to study the dynamic properties of DU alloys for penetrator. In this paper,the dynamic properties of four kinds of DU alloys made in China, subjected to high-strain-rate and high temperature, were investigated with apparatus of split Hopkinson bar. The test data were treated, and the constitutive models of the DU alloys were developed. The experimental results indicat that the stress increases with strain rate increasing and decreases with temperature increasing at the same strain. It means that DU alloys possess obvious effects of strain and temperature.
机译:贫铀合金(DU)是长杆动能穿透器中使用最广泛的材料之一。动能穿透器在发射和穿透过程中承受极大的动态载荷。因此,重要的是研究DU合金的渗透性能。本文采用分裂霍普金森棒装置研究了中国制造的四种DU合金在高应变率和高温下的动态性能。处理了测试数据,并开发了DU合金的本构模型。实验结果表明,在相同应变下,应力随应变率的增加而增加,随温度的升高而减小。这意味着DU合金具有明显的应变和温度影响。
