摘要

This competitiveness evaluation of China's automotive industry includes the establishment of evaluation indicator system, the choice of evaluation method and its application. First, this paper establishes an evaluation indicator system of our China's automobile industrial competitiveness based on the previous research results. This indicator system includes 4 first level indicators and 24 secondary indicators. Next, an evaluation method based on rough set theory is proposed and applied for China's automobile industrial competitiveness. The rough set based method is effective for evaluating automobile industry competitiveness because it only depends on information provided itself and doesn’t require prior knowledge. Using attribute reduction of the rough set theory, this study simplifies and optimizes the evaluation indicators, and also determines the weight of indicators by calculating attribute importance. Finally, this study evaluates the competitiveness of the four first level indicators, and the industrial comprehensive competitiveness. The results show that the comprehensive competitiveness of China's automotive industry is generally rising and the market competitiveness is most important among the first level indicators.
