A new and simple filtering method isrninvestigated in this paper, since the low frequencyrnerror in GOCE gradients data must be removed forrnefficient gravity field recovery. Considering thernobservation data is given as a time series, thernfrequency of gradients data in time domain will bernanalyzed firstly. Then two main filtering strategiesrnwhich are remove-restore method andrnforward-backward filtering technique will bernintroduced. The remove-restore method is used tornprevent low frequency signal loss and thernforward-backward filtering effectively avoids phaserndrift. The final result shows our approach is effective.
