摘要

@@ Insects grow by repetitively molting, a process that is regulated by a molting hormone, 20hydroxyecdysone (20E),acting on the ecdysone receptor (EcR). Compounds that are antagonists of 20E binding to EcR are therefore candidates for insecticides. Among them, diacylhydrazine (DAH)-type compounds that mimic the action of 20E have been developed to control insect populations, and several DAHs (tebufenozide, methoxyfenozide, halofenozide, fufenozide, and chromafenozide) are in regular agricultural use worldwide. Most of these DAHs are potent only against Lepidoptera, and not against other insect orders, while halofenozide is used not only for Lepidoptera but also for the Coleptera pests.
