Space is developping with CNES a new concept ofrnHighly Integrated Detection Electronic Subsystemrn(SEDHI) which lead to very high gains in term ofrncamera mass, volume and power consumption. Thisrnpaper presents the design of this new concept andrnsummarizes its main performances.rnThe electrical, mechanical and thermal aspects of thernSEDHI concept are described, including the basicrntechnologies: panchromatic detector, multispectralrndetector, butting technology, ASIC for phase shift ofrndetector clocks, ASIC for video processing, ASIC forrnphase trimming, hybrids, video modules... This conceptrnand these technologies can be adapted to a large scale ofrnmissions and instruments. Design, performance andrnbudgets of the subsystem are given for the Pléiadesrnmission for which the SEDHI concept has been selected.rnThe detailed performances of each critical componentrnare provided, focusing on the most critical performancesrnwhich have been obtained at this level of the Pléiadesrndevelopment.
