Foreign-trained health professionals (doctors, nurses,rnphysical therapists, and others) arrive in the US and Canadarnevery year to find a professional environment that is oftenrnunwelcoming and complex. In this work-in-progress posterrnwe explore the experiences and information behavior ofrnthese professionals as they search for health- and careerrelatedrninformation to integrate into their new professionalrnenvironments. Results from this research can in the futurernsupport the design of information resources and services tornbetter serve foreign-trained health professionals.
