The convergence of libraries, archives, and museumsrn(LAM) presents critical challenges to professionalrneducation. This panel introduces early results of a surveyrnthat explores the formal and informal relationships amongrnLIS, archival studies, and museum studies programs. Thesernresults will serve as a starting point for a discussion aboutrnthe qualitative dimensions of these relationships and howrnthey present opportunities and challenges for students,rnfaculty, and the field of LAM education.
