摘要

The basic frameworks of design code including legal law, regulations and non-governmental specifications are introduced. The legal law is so called the Building Standard Law and related regulations. Many non-governmental specifications for structural design of steel building structures are issued by many organizations about building structures. In this paper the basic design concept of the law and specifications are described.Then new technologies about steel building structures, such as various kinds of steel materials, super high strength bolts, ductile anchor bolts for exposed type column base, and another steel products for parts of steel frames are introduced.
