This presentation will investigate and discuss the application of a single photometric analyzerrnfor simultaneous measurements of Nitric Oxide (NO) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO_2) in stackrnemissions measurements. Modern processing sums the discrete measured values for eachrncomponent to report total Oxides of nitrogen (total NO_x). Separate measurements of NO andrnNO2 eliminates any need for the traditional converters frequently utilized. The physicalrnmeasurement technique of Non Dispersive Ultra Violet (NDUV) analysis is supported withrnreliable and tested traditional source level extractive sampling technology.
