This research investigated the influence ofrnthree layouts of operating rooms on thernindoor environment control, on thermalrncomfort and on energy consumption.rnIt was used the EnergyPlus software.rnThe parameters of the environment wererndescribed in accordance with standards.rnThe three layouts had controlled therntemperature and relative humidity.rnThe patient presented extreme discomfort.rnThe anesthesiologist presented muchrndiscomfort and in some cases discomfort.rnOther people remained in comfort or arnlittle discomfort.rnThe layout combining two hallways and anrnoperation room indicated the best thermalrnsensation for the people, and the lowestrnenergy consumption.
