The Centre Scientifique, et Technique du Batimentrnand Gaz-de-France carried out a comprehensive studyrnfor providing professionals with dimensioning rulesrnfor hot water floor heating systems.rnIn the first phase we used a general purpose finiternelement analysis program called MARC andrndeveloped a three-dimensional mesh integrating therndifferent floor heating components.rnIn a second phase, simulation results were compared tornan experimental result data set created for this studyrnfrom a test cell specially dedicated to heating floorrnassessment.rnFinally, the numerical model was compared andrnvalidated against experimental results in bothrnsteadystate and dynamic regime.
