Impurity content such as Pb, As, Cu, Fe, Bi, Cd, Cr, and Sn in antimony metal may be rapidly determined using ICP-OES and dissolving antimony metal in aqua regia. Impurity content such as As, Cr and Sn in antimony trioxide can be rapidly determined using ICP-OES and dissolving antimony trioxide in aqua regia. Impurity content such as Pb, Cu, Fe, Bi, and Cd can be rapidly determined using ICP-OES and solution of antimony trioxide in hydrochloric acid - hydrobromic acid after antimony has been removed.
