摘要

In view of the recent advances in technology of plating techniques and the resultant increase of applications of gold plating solutions in the aircraft, electronic, and related industries, it became necessary to obtain less time consuming methods of analyses. Also, in the analyses and control of contaminants, classical analytical methods simply were not sufficiently accurate to obtain the extremely low concentrations of the contaminant ions in question. Polarographic analyses appears to offer the most satisfactory solution to these problems of greater accuracy and time saving.
