摘要

Much attention has been devoted to the physiologicalrnchanges that occur during bed rest. However, there hasrnbeen a lack of focus on the psychological aspects per se.rnWe investigated indices of psychological strain duringrnthree 10-d interventions, designed to assess therncombined effects of inactivity/unloading andrnnormobaric hypoxia on several physiological systems.rnEleven male participants underwent three 10-drncampaigns in a randomized manner: 1) normobaricrnhypoxic ambulatory confinement (HAMB), 2)rnnormobaric hypoxic bed rest (HBR) and 3) normoxicrnbed rest (NBR). The most negative psychologicalrnprofile appeared on BR10 of HBR and HAmbrnconditions (hypoxic conditions). Concomitantly arndecrease in positive emotions was observed from BR-2rnto BR10. Bed rest and exposure to hypoxicrnenvironments seems to exert a negative effect onrnperson’s psychological mood.
