A 2-stage transportable pilot plant based on thernwork of Dr. W. Schneider (presented at this meeting---seernReactions of Aqueous Solutions of Ozone with Odorous Agents) is described in detail. The principle of 2-stage aqueous treatment with ozone, construction of the experimental plant, and results obtained over 18 months for removal of odorous substances from emissions at various locations are described. A projected large scale deodorizing plant for an aluminum foundry is described.
