UHMWPE fiber is a kind of lightweight high-strength oriented-strand gel spun through a spinneret.They are used in armor for soldier&policemen,in particular,personal armor and on occasion as vehicle armor,as their high strengths and specific low gravity[1].Recently the US military's interceptor body armor based on UHMWPE fiber is designed to offer arm and leg protection,which is named as Spectra or Dyneema fabric[2,3].However,UHMWPE fibers has extremely low coefficient of friction,its friction performance and low polarity caused it difficult to bond so that is very important to modify the UHMWPE fibre's surface in order to increase bonding ability with resins.
