Biodegradable polymers such as poly-L-lactide and polycaprolactone have attracted growing attention in recent decades for their uses in packaging,medicine and other areas,because of their environmental concern[1-2].In order to further improve their processing and mechanical properties,they are usually blended with other polymers and filled with inorganic particles such as nano-calcium carbonate (nano-CaCO3).In addition to the particulate biodegradable polymer composites,polymers filled with flame retardants such as aluminum hydroxide,magnesium hydroxide and microencapsulated red phosphorous have received increasing attention[3].
