摘要

Subsea production system is widely used in the development of offshore oil fields owe to its unique advantages.The South China Sea is rich in oil and gas reservoir where the water depth ranges from 500m to 2000m, but the installation capacity in China is up to 300m water depth.Based on the analysis of the installation procedures for deep water facilities, this paper focuses on the development of virtual simulation system for the installation procedure of subsea production facilities by using commercial softwares such as MultiGen Creator and Vega Prime.This system is developed to realize the designing,previewing and training for deepwater installation, meanwhile, it will provide a virtual offshore platform for the development of oil fields located in deepwater.
