A Study for Reduction of Radiated Emission by Shifting Clock Frequency Recently, there have been a number of studies for reduction of radiated emission from electronic devices. When electronic equipment is designed, it must ideally comply with the EMI regulation in a few dB margin. However, it comes short of expectation for reducing radiated emission therefrom The radiation noise spectrum of Printed Wiring Board (PWB) is composed of two parts, the one is broad band emission as "Basic" parts, and the other one is narrow band emission as "Peak" parts, caused by harmonic wave depending on clock or transmission signals.
