In ‘bioenergy villages’ renewable energies are used to supplyrnthe villagers with heat and electricity. Whereas thernelectricity gets fed into the national grid, a local heat distributionrnnetwork is necessary to supply the inhabitants withrnheat. This paper presents an optimization model for thernheat distribtion system. The problem is described as arnSteiner tree problem. The model is applied on a small examplernvillage.
