摘要

The aim of our research program is to analyse the influences of the machining parameters on the surface qualities evaluated by roughness, surface energy, and adhesion measurements. This paper will focus on the influence of cutting speed and storage time on wettability of milled surfaces. Samples are prepared from one European Douglas fir tree and the sessile drop method is used to study the wettability. All cutting parameters are fixed, except cutting speed. After machining, the samples are stored in a climatic chamber before to be characterized. The sampling is performed into sapwood and heartwood. Tests are still in progress.
