摘要

Spectral properties of the Bi-Er-Yb triply doped borosilicate glasses with different concentrations of bismuth were investigated. Broad absorption bands appeared at 300-1700nm and the emission bands in near infrared and visible wavelength regions from Er~(3+) and Yb~3 ions showed efficient enhancement in peak intensity due to the incorporation of bismuth upon excitation at 805nm. Possible energy transfer mechanisms of Er~(3+). Yb~(3+) and bismuth ions were proposed.
