The Cu~+ clusters containing sodium-borosilicale phase-separated glasses were prepared by addition of SnO as a reducing agent. The effects of the amount of SnO on the formation of Cu~+ clusters and photoluminescence (PL) properties were investigated. The obtained glasses showed the yellow PL owing to Cu~+ clusters and its color coordinates were close to that of an incandescent lamp. By increasing the additive amount of SnO. the absorption due to Cu~+ clusters in the glasses increased, however, the excess increase of Cu~+ clusters resulted in the saturation of the yellow PL intensity because of the decrease of the penetration depth of the excitation light.
