A series of glass-ceramics forming by bulk crystallization of CRT glass cullet mixed with calsiglass, fluidized bed combustions fly ash, and ground granulated blast furnace slag was investigated. Glass-ceramics, materials prepared by the control of crystallization of glasses, have a variety of established uses depending on their uniform reproducible fine-grain microstructure, absence of porosity and wide-ranging properties which can be tailored by changes in composition and heat treatment. The crystallization experiments were carried out on the basis of differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A compressive strength of obtained glass-ceramic was sufficiently large for practical use.
