As an interdisciplinary project, and a multi-institutional partnership, EthicShare seeks to provide a low barrier, easy-to-use research and community environment that meets multiple scholarly needs-those that have been explicitly expressed, such as a rich database or a way to communicate effectively with colleagues in a shared online space-and those that are implicit-such as providing tags as a way to organize and re-find content, even for scholars who may not be familiar with the convention of tagging.
