The Chinese radio astronomy community has made significant progress during 2002 to 2005. In addition to many annual domestic (solar) radio astronomical meetings, a number of international conferences have been organized, which include: Sino-German Radio Astronomy Conference on Radio Studies of Galactic Objects, Galaxies and AGNs, Xi'an, China, July 18-25, 2002; International Symp. on Physical Processes with the Sun, Weihai, 5-12 Aug. 2002; Workshop on Millimeter Wave VLBI, 2003; IAU Symp. No. 226, Coronal and Stellar Mass Ejections, Beijing, September 13-19, 2004; Radio Astronomy Session of the Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference, Qingdao, China, 24-27 Aug 2004; The 13th Meeting of the International SKA Steering Committee, Guizhou, China, March 16-20, 2005, etc. These activities have greatly promoted the cooperation between Chinese scientists and their colleagues globally. It can be expected that further major achievements will be made by Chinese radio astronomy community.
