摘要

The New Zealand Transport Agency (TA) commenced its procurement process in 2010rnand awarded a Design and Build with subsequent Maintain and Operate Alliance contractrnin November 2011 to a consortia of local and international designers and contractors.rnThe project comprises twin 14.0 m OD tunnels) with associated motorwayrnto motorway connections and is currently the largest tunneling project underway inrnthe Southern hemisphere. With completion of the Design and Build phase scheduledrnfor late 2016 this paper will describe the challenges and achievements to date from arnClient perspective operating within a Collaborative contract model (Project Alliancing).
