摘要

The paper describes the main results of the researches achieved during the joining process of conveyor belts. These results have special significance because mechanic characteristics lower than the rest of the conveyor belt are achieved in the joining area. The researches from this paper have followed to find new vulcanization conditions of the belts that would allow an increase of the mechanic characteristics in the joining area. Results have proved that the application of an ultrasonic energy in the belts vulcanization joining process causes a substantial increase of the breaking strength, a homogenization of the material in the joining area as well as a decrease of porosity in the belt joining area
