摘要

The problem of coupled heat and mass transfer by natural convection of a micropolar fluid about a sphere embedded in a porous medium in the presence of Soret and Dufour effects is formulated. The sphere surface is maintained at constant wall temperature and concentration. A parametric study of important physical parameters is conducted and a representative set of numerical results for the local skin-friction coefficient, local rotational friction coefficient, local Nusselt number and the local Sherwood number is illustrated graphically to show interesting features of the solutions.
