摘要

In this paper we performed an experimental study of electrical contact resistance dependence of the pressing force for pantograph-contact line contact. The parameters of the well-known formula for the constriction resistance were determined. The pantograph is asymmetric EPC type and the contact line wire is TF 100 type, both used in Romanian Electric Railways. The variation of contact resistance with contact force and calculated values of material parameters for graphite plates with different degree of wear are pointed out.
