摘要

This paper is focused on a liquid atomization. The drop size distribution, the spray shape and the spray structures were measured at different atomization pressures using Interferometry particle sizing technique (IPI). Here we used single full cone nozzle with water as a working liquid. The spray was examined in three stages: close to the nozzle exit, in 0.7m and 1.7m distance far from the nozzle exit. The results provided in a detailed analysis of this atomization were used to determine size distribution of the droplets and classification of the spray nozzle for suitable application.
