According to the characteristics of plasma-sprayed coating images under SEM, AFM and TEM, theories of Nonlinear Diffusion Filtering and Top-hat Transformation of mathematical morphology was used in image processing of plasma-sprayed coating, including noise reduction, enhancement, fusion and object segmentation. Through analysis of coating surface microstructure, coating images were improved. some suggestions are put forward to regulate technological parameters of plasma-sprayed. The experiment shows that this processing method is effective and feasible, and image quality can be improved greatly.
