Self-compactibility while fresh properties of hybrid fiber concrete (HFC) containing PVA fibers were investigated using combinations of fibers with different lengths and diameters. According to the results; 1) Short fibers affect the viscosity of the matrix. The viscosity of the matrix increases as the short fiber content increases. 2) A large addition of long fibers in a matrix with a low viscosity causes fiber segregation, but this problem can be solved by adding a certain amount of short fibers to increase the viscosity of the matrix. 3) A method of assessing the fresh properties of HFC using a slump flow diagram was proposed. By the use of this diagram, the fresh properties of HFC can be qualitatively assessed based on the excess matrix film thickness (t_m) and segregation factor (sgf) using the long and short fiber contents as the parameters.
